Default Need a quick answer, please

My son has a 87 K5 and he broke his rear U-joint this morning on the way to work. The drive shaft hung up on the Diff input yoke long enough for the extra mile to his job. I picked up the U-joint and he fixed it in the parking lot. He pulled the drive shaft and caught the fluid. The question is: Does he just add the fluid back into the tranny tube under the hood or does it go back into the transfer case? I need to know so I can bring him either a funnel or ??
Thanks much, Wayne

I'm not an expert on this but I would assume transfer case.

Top off the transfer case... the tranny fluid is separate.

Unhappy 2001 chevy blazer-cranks fine-cuts off when gas pedal is pressed.

Yesterday, i got into my blazer, it cranked fine and drove fine for about 2 hours or so. Then on getting back into the blazer, mind you, i had left the engine running, because i had my parents in the truck with me and it was hot. When i tried to back the truck up, it died. I could then crank it back up without any problem, but every time i hit the gas pedal to go, the truck would cut off. I then had truck towed to firestone who was asked to do a full throttle body flush. After picking truck up from shop, proceeded to complete day. Truck seemed to be running fine. About a hour or more later truck stalls out again. Looking back at the ticket and checking with several mechanics, it has been suggested that firestone did not do as i requested. The ticket read: Fuel system tune up- ek-10t ever-wear fuel system cleaner. Is this the same as a full throttle body flush? Pleeeassse help. Still stranded after a pay out of right at $200.00.

Your best bet would be to have started your own thread since your problem does not pertain to 11bravo's. But I would say that no they are not the same thing.
