Default New distributor timing problems

I installed a ready to run dustributor in my blazer with SBC 350 it rotates but won't fire I brough the engine to TDC several times installed the dissy no luck I have the distributor pointing as close as I can get to cylinder one which almost looks like it pointing at cylinder 3… if I move it over the next notch has it sitting at least an inch past cylinder one. I have spark at the coil and spark going down I'm at a loss the plugs are in the write order and don't think its 180 off

Default Help

Spent several hours trying to get it to fire no luck is it possible the harmonic balancer is giving bad reading…it you bump the engine it doesn't ever get close to zero. I can crank it by hand set it spin it never comes back to zero. Should I take the water pump cover off check the cam? Im grasping at straws and losing my mind

Haha. I went through the same thing when I did my first distributor on my 327. Turned out it was flooding and fouling the plugs. Fun to learn the hard way.
