Default Newb with Muncie swap question

I have a 2 door 97 that i got for free with a broken 4.3 and a 4l60E. Has anyone swapped a muncie into a s10 series vehicle? Btw what type of transfer cases do these blazers have. This will not be mated to the 4.3 as I have a detroit 353 sitting here that will bolt up to the Muncie sm420. Any information/help will be greatly appreciated. heres a picture of the heap as it sets and the detroit that may bring it back...

X2 on the good score.

If I wasn't new here I would be able to tell you about the transfer case. However I can tell you that the passenger mirror can be had off Ebay for about $26 shipped to your door. I can't remember the vendor, but I was impressed that I had it within 3 days for that price.

Thanks its just a 2 door not a ZR2. The first owner put a 3" body lift, 31s, flares, and other goodies on. It was my mothers for about 10 years. It had developed a rod knock and it was parked for a few years. She has a new lincoln and moved to AZ so she gave me the rig. On the trip driving it home it decided to puke a rod thru the pan. After doing some research it seems its most likely the np233 but I need to crawl under there when the snow is gone. I may just take some measurments and see if a SM465/Np208 will fit and get custom shafts matted up. Heres a video of the detroit running should be a fun swap. Im building the blower flanges and exhaust flanges for it right now. Plan to mount a small turbo on the 353 and go bigger on the injectors latter.

I should have figured from the signature. Seems you like to turbo everything you have. Now you're just getting difficult with the custom shafts. Why not find some stock shafts that are a bit longer (I'm sure there is something out there long enough) and give it a suspension lift instead?

I was looking when I swapped my snow tires for the bald ones last week (it just snowed 4" in 4 hours today). It looks like dropping the front differential and control arm brackets 2" or more would be pretty easy. I figured I'd plant that seed in your head since you seem more than capable of tackling a project like that.
I was rolling the thought around a while, but I just have to much on my plate at the moment. Not to mention I don't want to spend the money on big wheels/tires.

Well custom shafts and or shortening/ lengthening the stock shafts is cheaper that you would think. I have had custom shafts made up before. There is also plenty of drive line shops up here in the seattle area. The tires are due as well. I may go with some 33s and a few more inches of lift? maybe but the tires do need to be replaced and some beefy tires would be nice as well since i will be adding about 400 lbs to the front end.

Custom shafts is last resort. Right now I'm doing research on ways to adapt the Muncie SM465 to the stock NP233? case. The Muncie is quite a bit shorter than the stock 4L60E. IDK ill have to drop the detroit in the bay soon and take some measurements to see if I can get an adapter built/bought or even adapt a gear venders or auxiliary trans behind the Muncie? i still need to head over to the other side of the state to pick the gama goat bellhousing up that I need. The Muncies are 1' long and the 4L60E

I was browsing around and found this. Would be cool to have an auxiliary trans before the sm420 and would add 7 1/2". A twin stick blazer with 8 gears would be nice.....http://www.advanceadapters.com/products/pn-760001m-27/

I checked my RPO codes today. The rig comes with a NP1 (np223 transfer) and a GT4/G80 rear (3.73 posi) good news I never paid attention to those things as my mom always drove it like a grandma that she is.
