newbe "need help "

Exclamation newbe "need help "

hello been looking around he for a few months.great site lot of info on here.I have a 95 4x4 4door with 4.3 cpi and the 1.5 OBD dont you just love when they get a brain fart in the middle of the year. I'm get ready to do a tune up and was thinking about change the distributor for one with the alum shaft there is a place here in my town that sell the hole unite read to run for 96-07 for $41.50 will this one work on my 95 it look like the same form the pic mine has the same vertical post for the plug wires I know you say way dont you ask the person that i be buying from will it fit i just like to here it from someone that has really work on one not just some body that just sell them and was also wondering if their was a up grade for the spider for this year Ive seen on here that gm made a up grade system and was wondering if this work on mine. if this has been post on here before sorry I'm not a computer person there not my friend but Ive made peace with them for now thanks

the 95 model engine is the same as a 92-94 cpi engine. If it doesnt work for a 92-94 cpi it wont work for your 95. If you find an upgrade for the 92-95 cpi engine let us all know because as far as i know there isnt one. The is one for the 96+ models.

thanks and i was look at my post and i was wrong on the the way the post go on the cap the plug wries go horizontal not vertical like the one on hei distributor mine the one with the plastic shift it has a different name cant remember what it call and for spider i thank i found a up grade it call V8 swap

mom when i grow up i want work for NSAS so i will know how to fix the car

if it has the horizontal posts then i guess its the same as the newer ones. Be careful, 95 is a "hybrid" motor in the sense its part older and part newer.
