Default No 2nd

Hi everyone i was wondering which would be the best bet to fix my trailblazer? The transmission has 1st 3rd and 4th but has no 2nd which means i cant go backwards. I was thinking of getting it rebuilt or should i just get a used tranny? Its a beautiful blazer and i want to keep her on the road till the day i pass it on any info would help thanks in advance.

well haveing it rebuilt while its costly odds are it will last longer than a used tranny if you can afford to have some down time on the blazer then i would go with haveing it rebuilt

Vehicle details are pretty much a requirement...

No 2nd or Reverse is a sign of a blown out reaction sun shell which might not necessarily mean a full rebuild, but does mean that the trans must be dropped.

2001 Chevy Trailblazer
4.3l V6
Auto Transmission
Blue exterior W/ Tan leather interior

Is that enough info?
and that sounds better than rebuilding it!
