I'm back and no spark. I checked to make sure the new rotor was on properly and all new wires are in order. So what would you suggest.

Pull the lead off of the ignition coil and check for spark there. If not check for 12v on the pink power wires at the coil and the ICM with the ignition in the run position.

Already did the pink wire and it's 12 volts. I put the coil and I'm in my other zr2 and they are fine.

I'm currently trying the crank sensor in my running zr2 to eliminate that. I notice it was loose and the retaining bolt hand tight.

You need to test the two pink power wires (one at ICM and one at coil).

After that its:

Spark out of the coil

The ICM ground

Pulses to the ICM

Pulses to the coil

Crank sensor, its output and wiring

That's enough for now, report back

The sensor needs to work and the signal needs to get to the PCM so the wiring needs to be checked.

When I took the crank sensor off the bolt was hand tight. When I put it back on it seemed to go in further and after tightening it up I decided to try it and away she goes running perfect. My $1000 ZR2 purchase just turned into a $6000 ZR2. As the kid stole the sub from the back when I went to back up my trailer to load it I just had to let him know it was just a loose bolt that made him sell it. Isn't life ironic. Thank you for your time and help.
