Default Not sure if this transmission is compatible with mine
I have a '97 Blazer 4x4 and I found a guy in my area who is selling a rebuilt 4l60e out of an AWD Astro Van. Anyone know if this would be compatible with mine?

Might have to swap your bell housing and tail adapter, (they just bolt on). The basic transmission is the same.... that's the beauty of it Should be plug & play, no PCM programming necessary.

it'll work. or should. maybe a few exterior parts needed to be swapped etc. i think the mounts are different. nothing major.

bell housing is the same, internals are the same, tail shaft SHOULD be the same.
