i have 30 9.50 15's in the rear,235 75 15's in the front. 700r4,3.42 gears. 1900 stall

Detent cables adjusted correctly etc.

Reading around showing it usually engages around 45,which id enjoy,since i mostly city drive. Im guessing if i drop down a few tire sizes it'll help.

I might just buy a governor weight kit and play with the shift points etc.

I did notice if it drops to 50-51 mph it'll drop back into 3rd,as soon as i hit 52 its back in 4th.


ideas? Ive done my share of fluid and filter changes etc. Its done for the years ive had it.
