Oem plug wires
My wires are new looking and numbered are they the original/ Oem Delphi's trying to decide whether or not to replace them. I changed the plugs& cap & rotor the terminals were corroded. The truck runs excellent, idles smooth & steady, just want to max out fuel mileage ! And curious if the wires were original from 2000. Any thoughts ???

RE: Oem plug wires
Probably original.
To assess whether they need to be replaced or not, take a clean spray bottle (one that can mist pretty good). Fill it with water. With the engine running and the truck located someplace dark, turn off all exterior lights and mist down the engine. If you see blue shots of light, the wires are leaking current and need to be replaced. If it stays dark, you do not need to replace a thing.
