Default Oil PSI issues

I inherited a 1996 blazer 4.3 vortec with 134,000 miles. It has been taken care of. Oil changed every 3k miles. I have been working on this thing for the last few days, just doing reg maintenece stuff before i make it my daily driver. I have noticed on thing and its my oil PSI, When driving it runs at 60psi, but at times when parked it drops to 30psi, is that to low for this engine? when i give it just a little gas the psi jumps back up to 60psi. Is this normal for a 96 blazer? Thanks. I just want to make certain, this vehicle used to be my mothers, and i plan on taken very good care of it.

to further clear it up, the oil pump is driven off the distributor. higher rpm=higher oil pump is spinning
