Default Oil Pump Screen!!!!!!WHERE????

okay...i havea 1993 s10 blazer tahoe lt. 4.3l v6 vin w 4x4
I an in the process of putting in a new engine (long block). it came with a new oil pump, woo hoo, but to respect the warranty included with the engine. a newoil pump pick-up tube and screen MUST be installed. no problem right? wrong! i went towork and triend to order one through chevy (im a mechanic)and they said that it is a discontinued product, and to try aftermarket...so i triedautozone, Oreileys, napa, and Car Quest where i bought the motor and they said to just clean and re use the old tube..
the new pump that was supplied with the motor is a new design for improved oil flow, so i cant just mix old and new parts...i cant just rig this part, it must beperfect or im looking at motor failure without warranty coverage.. where can i get a oil pump pick up screen ...pump included or not... anything!!!

I didn't have alot of time to look, but here's a link to an inexpensive pump that will work with your factory pick-up. http://www.jegs.com/webapp/wcs/store...chTerm=4.3+oil

EDIT......sorry that is a pick-up for your application that works with melling pumps.

dude you have just solved my delimma! .....the new pump i have... i clicked the link, and it looksidentical to that one, i am looking at the pump right now and it has the same part number stamped on the side.. i was correct about the high volume part, thats why the old engine burnt up, the guy who had it before me put a reman in it for some reason??? and it was for a 2wd...different oil pumps for 2 and 4wd because on the 4wd the oil filter has to be relocated away from the pan, requiring more pressure.
