Default Oil in Throttle body/intake

I have a 99 jimmy leaked oil bad and started driving my pathfinder to figure out whats been going on, its been sitting and stopped leaking, was checking the throttle body and pushed open the valve and... a mess of black sludgey oil, the vaccume line that runs into the passanger side crankcase? Covered in oil. So crabk case clearly is pressurized, and have a fualt code for something egr related. Do you figure a bad egr valve could put that much pressure in pr would it be a pcv, im kind of at a loss any help would be amazing
