over heating

Default over heating

ive got a 91 s10 blazer 4x4 with the 4.3 v6 and its been running kinda warm lately. i replaced the thermostat just now and its not getting AS warm as it used to but its still getting a little over the 200 mark. is that normal? or any sudgestions on whats wrong with it?

Are you positive that you purged all the air out of the coolant system and that the coolant level is correct?

It is quite normal for a 195*F thermostat to result in up to 210*F gauge readings.
