OVERHEATING!!!!

Default OVERHEATING!!!!

my truck hasn't had a thermostat sense ive had it so i cant get much heat in the cab. i put one on and my truck almost instantly overheats, why?????????? please help

maybe you have alot of buildup in the system that's not letting heat transfer w/o a high flowrate w/ the coolant

Are you sure you installed the thermostat correctly, with the bulb side (the one with the spring in it) down?

Carb or fuel injected?
Was it converted?
Could bethe water pump is flowing the wrong direction.
