this will be my first post on here so bare with me,
i have a 98 s10 blazer 4x4 4.3 ltr engine. it's kicking up a p1404 code and it misses (sputters) on acceleration only, in town or highway. it idles smooth. and it;s getting horrible gas mileage. about 100 miles on 3/4 a tank. it has a new fuel pump, plugs, wires, cap, rotor, coolant temp sensor for ecm, egr valve and fuel filter. i've been a mechanic for alot of years but my drivability is not the greatest at all. i do however need to replace the intake gasket due to front seal leaking and at the same time I'm gonna check the egr passages for blockage. it DOES NOT kick up any misfire codes.
