Default PCV Valve issue

Ok so im trying to figure out what the heck the plastice piece is that leads from the intake manifold area to the pcv valve by a hard plastice hose or pipe i can't for the life of me find anyone who knows what this is called please help me im stuck

The actual plastic fitting that goes into the intake... Good luck. I think I know what you are talking about, but I have never heard a proper name for it. Should be something you can get at a junkyard though.

in one of ur other replies that u posted with a pic u can see the piece i am talking about i posted a reply to u on that one as well i can't seem to find anyone that knows wat it is

A link would have sufficed. No need to hijack another thread even though it is over a year old.

I think we are both talking about the same thing here. As I said, I have never heard a term for that piece. I believe it comes as part of the plenum cover. If the dealer can't get it separately, a junkyard is likely your only hope.

hey swart just so u know the piece is amazingly called the pcv cover lol this is the name that the local chevy gmc dealer told me

So it was available separately..? That's exactly what I would have called it, but never would have thought that GM would name it something so obvious. LOL

Good to know though.
