Default PCV or Vent?

As I was replacing my spark plugs, I found a hose that needs a home. The vacuum hose is coming from a plug that goes into driver's side valve cover. The hose draws a vacuum. I know that I have a PCV on the passenger's side valve cover; is there also one on the driver's side. Either way, where should this hose go ('95 W code 4.3 vortec)?

Sounds like the PCV intake hose. On my '93, it runs from the air filter box (below the main hose) to the driver's side valve cover. Looks just like the PCV valve hose on the passenger side.

Just a guess.
