Permanent p0300 and pending p0300?
Ok so I've been having oil pressure problems with my 04 blazer 4dr 2wd. I noticed one day at work there was some oil under the truck, so I get home and get inspecting. It's the oil cooler line fitting coming from the radiator so I change both of them just to be safe. The oil leak is fixed, now I have a new problem it threw a p0300 code, I check everything and nothing the plugs wires and distributor are all good, I take it around the block park it now I have a permanent p0300 and a pending p0335 and p0300. Why is the p0300 in both permanent and pending, I'm getting a new delco distributor and Rotor this week so I'm hoping that clears the p0300 but as far as the p0335 it seems as though there is oil leaking from inside the sensor, (kinda like how the oil pressure sensor leaks) it's in the plug, does anyone have any advice or ideas of what I should check next or am I on the right track?

First thing is that you need to make sure that CMP retard is within spec (+/- 2 degrees) so your not chasing ghosts on misfires. Can you feel the misfire? What kind of misfire counts are you getting?
Did the oil leak work its way into the crank sensor plug? Did you disturb or damage the harness, plug or sensor? If the wiring is all good then check the hi and lo 12v reference. If that good, pull the sensor and see if it has impacted the reluctor wheel. Keep track of any shims used.
