Exclamation Please help

Can i put and 1994 4.3 block with no crank sensor in a 1998 4.3 blazer with a crank sensor required? i have switched everything else and the engine is sitting in the blazer ready to go but i need to know how to bypass the crank sensor so i can make it run.Everything else is ready to go and the 1994 4.3 came out of a blazer to but they switched to vortec so someone please help me i really need my blazer running so i dont lose my job PLEASE and thank you all even if you cant help

Did you switch out the ECM? The 1998 has more sensors then the 94 engine, and i don't see how you could even get the thing running without switching them. The EGR valves are different, not having a cranksensor will not let the engine start, the 98 has a MAF sensor the 94 doesn't, etc But to answer your question I don't beleve so. The sensor lets the computer know witch cylinder (I think #1) is on TDC so the engine can start and the computer can adjust sensors,timing,etc
