Default Please help!!!!!!

just did the head gaskest on 92 s10 4.3 vortec!!!! SOUNDS AND RUNS LIKE (****) gave the top end kit to machine shop thought they could use parts from it like (VALVE STEM SEAL) since i WAS expecting the valves to be done along with the heads being checked paid $125.00 BUT LOW AND BEHOLD inside the kit was STIIL 12 VALVE STEM SEALS!!!!!

AM I MISSING SOMETHING IN THIS EQUATION?

what should have been DONE or POSSIBLY NOT DONE?

I BOUGHT EVERYTHING NEW AND IT SOUNDS AND RUNS LIKE ****!!!!

its one of those clarification deals
I suspect $125 is to cheap for a valve job and check

Generally if they are magna fluxing iron heads they are removing the valves to check for cracks in the ports
They at least should have put in the new valve seals in for reassembly if they were there

there is a possibility that if they pulled the valves and didn't machine them that they mix them up in reassembly

Did they plane the head gasket surface ?

yes they did and im just going to dump it been night mare since ive had it tyvm for replying back
