please help tbi trouble

start fine but all the sudden injectors spray heavy then light and repeats and stops runs good then does it again surges but if unplugg tpi idles fine no problems check engine light comes on and off please help

TPI? Do you mean TPS (throttle position sensor)?

What are your codes? What are you driving?
