Isn't bar a way of measuring pressure?

So the fuel pumps put out around 80-100 psi, roughly, quick internet maths tells me that's about 5 to 6.8 bar

Bar is a unit of pressure measurement.

The pump has a maximum pressure of ~70 to 100 psi (4.8 to 6.9 bar). The fuel pressure regulator located in the engine will regulate the fuel pressure at 60 to 66 psi (4.1 to 4.6 bar).

Some have observed fuel pressures as low as 55psi (3.8 bar) on a properly running engine which could be attributed to gauge error, but if the pressure were actually this low it could affect the operation of the pressure actuated poppet nozzles used in the stock SCFI fuel system. A common upgrade is the MFI spider which moves the electronic injector out to where the poppet nozzles are located in the SCFI setup, eliminating the problematic poppet nozzles.
