Default Poor acceleration and misfire

I’ve changed plugs, wires, cap, and button. Wandering if ignition coil and module was next to fix my problem? It runs and shifts out fine but if I want to give it hard acceleration it does not down shift like it needs to. And sometimes misfires at a high rpm. Thoughts?
Also I’m running about 22’000 rpms at 50 to 55 mph feels like I’m not going into overdrive?

I'm going to assume you have a second generation Blazer with OBD2 (1996-2004). You did not indicate year of your vehicle.

If power is down it may not make it into OD. Stop replacing parts *****-nilly. Test Cam Sensor Retard with a capable scanner. If you need to buy an inexpensive capable scanner, get Car Diagnostic Pro for Android phone (unless you have a 1996 or 1997) and the BAFX OBD2 Bluetooth adapter from Amazon. About $35 for both.

Report back the cam sensor retard. Should be zero +/- 2 degrees.

If cam sensor retard is OK - up next will be compression test.

It’s so boggy it has no real power like it should it’s frustrating and old if this helps describe something but when you start it for a few moments it spits white smoke not a lot like smoking but rapid puffs?
