Default Probably a dumb ATX Question

I did a search and haven't found any threads so I'll ask. Has/does anyone drive there ATX like a Standard? And it doesn't have to be all the time, Just looking for input if Gas Milage is the same as just puting it in drive, any problems you've had, etc...

Thank you

I don't do it i love the convenience of being able to just put it in drive. As for increasing fuel mileage the only way to do that is to slow down but that's no fun now is it.
