question with starting

For the last month every once in a while when trying to start my blazer itsbattery will die and i will have to move the wires at the battery to fix the problem.I have cleaned, and tightened the connectionsand still the same problems.Anybody know what it might be?

Peace!

RE: question with starting

It could be a loose ground cable
It could be a loose power cable where it attaches to the starter
It could be the battery itself as the connectors inside the battery come loose even though the cable nut(s) feel tight ..

RE: question with starting

It could also need new battery cables.

RE: question with starting

Check volts at battery when running, and off. Like they said, could be the battery (14.5 volts) running (12.5 volts) off
