Question Radiator Cracked, left a peice off

Today my radiator cracked, just to add to the problems Im already having with my 02 Blazer (fuel pump, tranny, suspension, and now this). The crack was located on the back of the radiator going down the plastic (about 1.5-2 in long). I went to Oreillys and bought new hoses, a belt and a new radiator. When I put it in, I did not notice that on the bottom of the old radiator there are small rubber peices that the radiator sits on, which were still on the old one. The new one Im guessing is sitting on the plastic peice that the fan shroud hooks into. Is this going to matter?

The peices are small round rubber peices that coushin the radiator on the bottom, one on each side. I would hate to have to take it all back apart but did not know if it had to be on there or not.

Thanks,
