Randomly Stalling in Reverse
Hey All,
I am back for more of your wonderful answers. So my '98 Blazer has an issue, its not a big problem right now but I want to get it fixed before it becomes one.
RANDOMLY my Blazer will stall when I back up. It'll run fine, idle just perfect.. i'll put it in reverse and start rolling backwards and then... what do you know, it dies. It has only happened while reversing, and its only happened maybe four times in the last six months. It does not bog down, does not lack power, shifts just fine.
Can anyone suggest a possible problem / solution??
Thanks all!

My 98 Blazer does the exact same thing! Did you ever find out why yours does it?

Sorry, I never did find out why it was doing it. However it hasn't happened to me since I put some new spark plugs in. Maybe that was a contributing factor. If you haven't replaced yours in awhile, you should try that.
