Rivet in transmission

Rivet in transmission
I have a 2001 Blazer with the 4L60E transmission in it, during my rebuild (Sun Shell) I found this piece of metal that resembles a rivet floating in the transmission. I do not see it in any tutorials or in the ATSG book I bought. I did break the tcc solenoid when disassembling, is that where it's from?
