Default Rollover vent valve

Has anyone replaced the rollover fuel vent valve on the top of the fuel tank? I broke the valve stem removing the tank and plan on installing a new one tom? Tips ? Steps? Do they just pop out do they need to be sealed...Any help appreciated

There is no replacement part, the whole tank needs to be replaced unless you can make a miracle happen with JB Weld or some other epoxy

Nope picked up the replacement for $30 bucks pretty much universal ....pryed the old one out and slowly installed the new one by tapping it with a rubber mallet
