So this is my first post here.
Anyway here the question. My uncle has a 1996 blazer 4x4 that he got for free from some guy that spun the main bearings, 5 years ago. So my uncle tore the whole thing apart got all 3 years and then set it all aside. Finally just in the last few months he got all the machining done and new parts and I started putting it together in my spare time. Well I put the engine in and bolted the remote oil filter unit on not realizing that the gaskets were not in it. Started it up and, du an oil leak. So realized what was up and went down and got a gasket set, opened it up and discovered that I have no idea how these things go in, seeing as how I never took it apart. So here what I got there are two gaskets and a large o ring. Now I know where the o ring goes, put whats up that the gaskets. One is a full circle and the other is only a half round. Do they both do up inside there or only one of them???

The gaskets should have an over-molded o-ring surface around the two holes... They look like an "8". This is what goes between the lines and the filter adapter.
Can you snap a picture of what the gaskets look like?
