I noticed that you are from a different country. Just curious which one. Austria?

If your rear O2 sensor is cycling like the front - then your catalytic converter is definitely bad. But that doesn't mean the cat is your performance problem - the P0430 is only an effect of your performance problem. Misfires are what kills cats. Also know that cats are not always restricted when damaged, which appears to be your case. Just forget about the catalytic converter until you have the engine running correctly. Back to basics!! Don't get lost in the OBD2 jungle!
You should rule out excessive back pressure as well as do the compression test that Les recommended. If there is no restriction then I agree, forget about the cat and work on getting the engine running right. BTW a volumetric efficiency test is another way to see if the engine is breathing correctly and also costs nothing.

Just ordered a compression test tool, gotta have one anyway!

Surprised you guessed right! Austria it is, at least for the last few years, not that common to loan tools here, found a few spots, but they have quite limited stock, plus it'd just be cheaper to buy one yourself- better in the long run too

Cat is most likely bad, but I agree, most likely not a root cause here. Gonna check the compression and the cat back pressure soon. Keep you posted, thanks guys

Servus ausm Nachbarland.

Gruss aus der Schweiz.

Looking forward to the results of the compression test.

Another thing that comes to my mind when misfires start at idle after a high rpm event...

...how good is the battery and the charge of the alternator? (Battery testing under load)

Did you end up doing the compression test? I'm invested.
