Scratching my head
I have a 96 blazer 4x4 wit a 4.3 lower end got wiped out so i replaced the cranck and berarings put it all back togother broke it in went to go for a test drive and nothing no fwd no reverse mind u i drove it on the trailer and off back into the garage and trans worked fine..... did not pull torque convertor or trans out..... what am i missing here plz help!!!
The only thing in the trouble shooting chart for the 4L60E for no movement in any gear is torque converter bolts... You should at least have 1st gear. I suppose there could be a problem with the torque converter, but if nothing was removed, there shouldn't be anything that could have happened to it.
Another stupid question, the bolts were installed between the flex plate and the crank, correct? Also, worth checking is that the shift cable is attached to the transmission...
