2001 automatic that sat for 8 months with no fluid in it while the engine was being rebuilt, will not shift beyond 2nd.?. It will shift once just fine after take off, then run up to the chip if you want it to. Stuck solenoids.?. Will it work out??? Is there anything I can do to help it? !!!problem fixed thanks to the forum and just some research through past posts...Bought a new shift solenoid and done. Thanks to the forum for not deleting past posts!!!!!
