if anyone can help or give me any ideas it would greatly be appreciated, I have a 98 Jimmy 4wd I just changed the head gaskets on it and when i put it all back together it runs great again but when i drive down the road everytime i push the gas pedal in more than a quarter of the way it kicks down into passing gear and doesn't really kick back up into cruising gear until you let off the pedal i mean it runs good if your wanting to drive fast shifts ok and everything i'm not sure if it has an adjustment or not but i know my firebird did this after i changed the tranny in it and the Shift detent cable had to be adjusted but i have not seen any adjustment on the cable of the jimmy is there something electronic maybe or any ideas what i could check it ran and shifted completely perfect before i changed the head gaskets Thanks Gregkb2
