ok so after much dreading and poking about, the solution was a new tranny filter and quart of lucas with gal of tranny fluid.
cleared it all right up....now its only been two days, but results are promising.
i wish i had had more time before last couple of days...could had this fixed last week....oh well.

could have been worse.

Good to hear it was that simple!! I've been putting off a fuel pressure issue myself for some time now.

 

I had basically the exact same issue with my 2000 gmc Jimmy and mine turned out to be my timing was way off.

 

Mine is now not doing it everyday and it does it in park tps possibly ?

 

maybe, dont know because of the park issue though.
test the tps with a volt meter...its real easy.

 

Check engine light came on today while on way to work gonna stop at autozone tommorrow find out what it is
