smog pump

Default smog pump
i was wondering if anyone could help me uh pretty much my smog pump there is a rubber hose and its getting to hott i was wondering what the problem could be and how i could fix it any ideas?????

Could be a bad exhaust check valve... Just a guess, you haven't really provided much information.

well its a 99 Ls im not sure what the hose is called but its right under my oil stick and its getting to hot for some reason and it makes my truck lag alot i feel like im loseing back presure
