Default spark plugs and oil lines problems

I need to change my spark plugs in my 98 chevy blazer. I have NGK v power or some thing like that. what should i replace them with? thought about ac delco plat. but dont know whats better for the truck. Does anybody know how hard it is to change the oil cooler lines that go from the block to the oil filter?

I think most people would agree that Ac Delco Platinum
would be the best spark plugs for a Blazer.

Follow this link for your oil cooler lines.

Swartikk has put together a very nice easy to follow step by step
set of instructions.

The oil cooler line that goes to the radiator I think i can do that one. but what about the one tha goes from the oil filter to the engineblock. some one told me that u have to raise the engine block off the frame. is that true. the oil filter is located on front of my truck. under the bumper.of course u all know that. are there new seals with the lines or do i have to buy them? anyadvicewould be nice. dont have money to pay a shop to do it.

Hello wiblazerman,

I just had my oil cooler lines redone a few hours ago.

I bought the the oiler cooler lines from rockauto.
I have a 1997 4 wheel drive Vin W

DORMAN 625001 (625-001) Oil Cooler Hose $ 36.79
DORMAN 625100 (625-100) Oil Cooler Hose $ 20.79

These came complete with everything.I did not do the
work myself. I do not have the tools or garage to handle
this kind of work. I took my blazer to a local garage
to have all the fluids changed including the oil cooler
lines. The mechanic was nice enough to let me look
over his shoulder and shadow his every move. I think
as far as the cooler lines coming from the radiator
to the oil filter you could handle without any special
tools. But as far as the other set coming from the oil
filter back to the pan area, you are correct that you
would have to jack the engine up a bit in order to
get to the other set which go back from the oil filter.
I don't think there is any other way to get a ratchet
onto things back there. It was a tight fit even with
the engine jacked up. They had my car up on a hoist
and were standing and doing the work.

If you are a capable DIY and patient, and have
the correct equipment such as car jacks and
a good set of tools which has a lot of extensions
you might be able to figure it out. I know money
is tight. The more you can do yourself the better.

Maybe someone who has actually done this fix
by themselves without the help of a hoist can
give you some more guidance.

Hope this helps. Good Luck.

Mark

thanks marksoftball. Any info helps. But by time i read this thread i all aready worked on my truck. parts cost me just a little under a 100$. had to buy seals for my lines and there made by the same company u have listed. what the hell is up with that . 80 and some change for the lines and 10 bucks for seals. looks like i was screwed on that one. Yes i found out i had topull the motor mount bolt out and jack it up a little. took me two days to do it work on truck and take care of kids was not fun but its done and not leaking. FYI i lost a nut that goes to the motor mount bolt and went tobuy one at auto parts stores. well come to find out no one had a 11mm x1.5 nut. some gosh dam odd ball. local chevy dealer wanted onefor 15 dollars shipped from Michigan. I sad fk that and look for the dam thing and found it 1 hr later hiding in the a frame in a hole big enough to hid a nut. so never lose your NUTS.
