Hey guys Maybe someone can guide me in the right direction as i'm running out of money and options here. I have a 2000 blazer 4.3 vortec. When I first start the engine it idles good but when I take off it sputters and jerks like its starving for fuel or missing. Almost like its running out of gas. After about 7 or 8 miles it lines right out and drives like its new. The codes it was throwing were fuel bank 1 and 2 rich and Crankshaft Camshaft Position Correlation. I knew it needed a lower intake gasket so I replaced it and my local shop suggested I change the fuel pressure regulator so I did. While I was in there I noticed a ground on the firewall was off and I fixed it. Now it starts better but its still sputtering like crazy then lining out about 8 miles down the road. The codes it threw today were Throttle position sensor and still the Crankshaft Camshaft Position Correlation but not the fuel bank rich codes. Also note that the fuel pressure is at 62 and the fuel pump was changed last year along with the cap, rotor, plugs and wires.
I have read on here for hours and I see this problem and a lot of people commenting on what it might be but no one ever saying what fixed it. This seems to be a common problem. Im going broke with this thing and I cant afford to just throw sensors at it everyday...can someone help me? Please and thank you!!
