Hey guys I got an 87 k5 with a .350. I want to make my K5 a little more fuel efficient. I was told to stage up and re gear the trans. I wanna know if anybody recommends any new trans. and maybe a 4 or 5 speed? any info would be great! what would you do? thanks -Andrew

 

Maybe go with 700R4 4 speed auto.That should help.Another thing is find out the gear ratio of the rearend.If its a 308 dump it for 342 or 373 gear

I got 94 silverado with a 308 geared rearend I cant stand it.Stinks for driving around in town.
