Stuttering and bogging down under power
Hey guys, thanks in advance for any help you can give.
I have a '78 Blazer. (auto. 350) with a Qjet carb. I've been having issues with it the last few months off and on with issues which I believe stem from a super gunked up fuel supply (the truck had been sitting for a couple of years, I believe).
Right now, I have it idling nicely (carb cleaner and a new filter helps) but it still has a lot of trouble when climbing or accelerating past about 50mph.
I replaced the upper section of the fuel line with a soft line a few months ago (metal one was badly kinked and started to leak), and this is holding fine, no bulges and no leaks.
Any ideas at all?
(I have not dropped the tank out or cleaned it yet... that's a future project.)
