Question sudden drop in oil pressure

Hey everyone, first post here, but been here looking for a while and have seen some useful info. I have a '95 S15 2dr, 2wd jimmy 4.3 CPI-W, 167k thats been great 'til the other day when I noticed a "check guages" that showed a sudden drop in oil pressure when exiting off the freeway and coming to a stop. the pressure jumped back above 45psi instantly..?.. at normal driving around town the pressure is always above 45psi and at speeds of 55 and above its 55-60 psi. This never happens until coming to a stop off of the freeway . the oil is only three months old and is SAE 5w30. the only thing I can think of is that the filter (fram HD) is at fault.there is no engine noise, oil starvation or piston/bearing slap..The weather has been great but only in the mid 80s so no overheating, coolant stays around 195*-200*. Any input would be great. Thanks in advance, Big bob
