timing mark question

Default timing mark question

i have a 4.3 vorec its a 92 i was wondering where to go by on timing marks i know where there at but cant see any numbers or marks to go by

Timing is to be set at 0* TDC. This should be the largest notch in the timing tab.

But you have to disconnect the tan/blk wire under the HVAC case just to the left of the transmission tunnel inside the truck prior to attempting to set the timing. You may have to pull back the carpet a bit to see this connector. Do not disconnect the 4 pin plug on the distributor.
