Too much transmission fluid

I did this once as well. A vacuum pump with windshield washer hose made for a quick and clean fluid removal.

Thanks guys! Wish us luck, me and my neighbor, both female are going to attempt this, no choice, no money!

amateur here. If the fluid level is above the two dots on the tranny dip by an inch or so should I worry?

Engine idling at normal operating temperature, transmission in park, vehicle on a level surface. Fluid should be within the "hash" marks on the stick.

make sure you wipe the dip stick and check a few times
