Default torque converter cover removal?

I am under this car trying to remove it and the oil cooler lines for the transmission are in the way, and the bolts to remove them are deeper into the chassy and I cant really get them off, and on the other end the driveline is in the way..

there a better way?

4 wheel drive? year?

Loosen up the bolts 1st..if you have 4x4 you may need to pull the front driveshaft. I managed to fit a knuckle in mine to get that bolt out above the driveshaft. Once all the bolts are out push on the trans lines. They wont break unless you feel like being the hulk. it'll come out. Just a pain in the ***

make sure to remove thte bitch pin because that is the likely cause of you "cushy" linkage feeling.. Lack of bushings could be the cause..

its a 1995 4 door 4x4

and all the bolts are out the cover is not connected to the transmission anymore its just sitting in there held up by those lines and the driveshaft.
