I have been trying to pull my torque converter out of my 4.3 litre jimmy to fix the seal behind it
I've started an engine rebuild so the converter is easily accessible. It spins freely but will not come forward I've tried prying with a crowbar spraying lots of lubricant
I'd like to NOT pull it out with a vehicle, has anyone had this problem, it seems like its supposed to just pop off and i don't know why mine doesn't. The trans is almost out I dont know if that would make it easier because its pretty comfortable in my engine bay but it wont give. Any advice is appreciated.Its a 4L60 transmision and 1989 4.3 litre
