Just got back from town. Was home for a whole. Went to leave again and no Speedo and didn't want to shift. Heard a speed sensor would do that any ideas .never had any shifting issues before so hope it's not the tranny

The vss sensor was all but unplugged.it is so close to the body I had to pry down the tail to even think about plugging it in let alone changing it and my pigtail has a locking clip but for the life of me I can't feel the locking tab should it be so close. looks likre if it flexed it would break it .my sleve is cracked on the vss any suggestions would be appreciated

 

Fixed . the tranny mount was bad and allowed it to flex enough to break the sensor.so new mount and sensor . beat the floor up a bit to give some clearance as preventative measure .
