Default Tranny temp gauge location help

Just bought a autometer electric tranny temp gauge for my 94 s10 blazer with the 4l60e. What is the best/easiest location to install the sending unit? I heard maybe in the pressure port? I would rather not have to drain it to install. Thanks in advance

Couldn't I just tie my electric gauge into the yellow/blk wire for the internal temp sensor that goes to the ecm?
