Tranny wont shift past 2nd

My tranny wont shift out of second and it is a problem I got a sensor the other day speed sensor for the VSS change that and still in life it's like half the problem the speedometer still don't work what now

not sure if you got it fixed or not but I had this issue with a crown vic I had my father told me to put a cap full a break fluid into transmission and it started working after that.
