I have a 2000 4.3L 4wd Blazer. If i put my foot down on the pedal much it wont shift until 5000 rpm. its the worst in 1st, usually going from 0, but it does happen if i get on it in other gears. Is this fixable? If not what tranny options do i have? Id like to stick to auto because i don't want to get into switching over to manual.

 

ok we need some codes or some more info to help more. i got an idea though, what does your gear display on the dash say? is it highlighting D when u shift into D??? nss may be bad so pcm doesnt know to command the solenoids to shift. if u have a floor shifter this wont help, u will need a scantool with datastream to be able to read TRANS RANGE, will either say P,N,D,1,2,3 dependent on what gear you have selected, if it doesnt start there. it should have set a code. could have a bad 1-2 shift solenoid also but u gota give us some more input
