Trans seal or is there a gasket
#1
ok guys i might sound stupid at this point but im confused . I got trans fluid dripping on my y exhaust pipe . would it be the pump seal? . how hard is it to change if it is? All i know is i need to drop the trans and take the converter off if im correct

how much would it cost for a job like this to be done estimate price?

The transmission would need to be pulled, or at least pulled back far enough to remove the torque converter to get access to the seal.
As far as a price... If a shop is doing it, expect to pay for 4+ hrs of labor at whatever they charge per hour.
